A chartered accountant since 1983, Louise Papin was educated at HEC-Montreal. She joined the firm Jacques Davis Lefaivre, SENCRL, now known as Mazars Harel Drouin, LLP, in 1982 and became a partner in 1987. In 2008 Louise Papin became a partner of the international integrated partnership of Mazars. Her experience has allowed her to build up expertise particularly in professional services, healthcare, retail, service firms, construction and sales and mergers of businesses.
Alongside her professional career, she is involved in several voluntary activities linked to the promotion of women in business. She was a member of the Quebec network of Business Women (1991-2004), a sponsor of women near the top of the Canadian Development Bank (1993-1994) and leader of a mutual aid cell in the Quebec network of Business Women (1994-1996).
