A chartered accountant since 1985, Johanne Fortier joined the Harel Drouin - PKF, LLP (now known as Mazars Harel Drouin, LLP) in 1979 and became a partner in 1990. In 2009 she became a partner at Mazars, an integrated international partnership.

As audit partner, she is in charge of clientele of small and medium-sized businesses in the service sector and companies with investments in marketable securities, and supports the audit of publicly-listed companies and public-sector companies.

Member on committees with the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec for several years, and responsible for professional quality and training within the Firm from 1997 to 2005, she is recognized for her professionalism and competence.

Since 2009 she has been a member of the Board of Directors and President of Audit Committee of “Centre des services partagés du Québec”, a crown corporation of the government of Quebec.

The course of her professional career and her mandates has made her a member to watch in the profession.
